This manufacturing process involves spinning the manway to produce a straight, vertical collar.

This production method eliminates a "bulge" at the bottom of the collar that normally requires extra welding to accommodate larger collar openings.

The new process allows for collar lengths of 2 to 10 inches, whereas previous manufacturing methods resulted in a limited number of collar lengths that required addtional welding time and labor for installation.
