ULTRA LOW SULFUR DIESEL SURVEY
STI, along with many other associations and agencies, is researching issues related to Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel, ULSD. Everyone that has first hand experience with ULSD is asked to complete a short (2 minutes) survey on line. This survey is being conducted because of reports of corrosion, mainly on ancillary equipment such as pumps, gauges, meters, strainer, etc., have been reported and photographed. Anyone that conducts service work or has been called to the field because of problems is encouraged to report their observations through this survey. Also, if you have not experienced any problems, this information is also vital.
Deadline for completion of the survey is April 6. The input provided will give the industry the information to determine the next steps, if any, that should be taken.
STI/SPFA Members vote for 2009 Products of the Year and 2009 New Product of the Year at 2010 Annual Winter Meeting in Palm Springs, CA.
A new President, Tim Woofter of Stanwade Metal Products, was elected to lead the STI/SPFA Board of Directors at its 2010 Annual Winter Meeting. Additional appointments occurred to fill open Board positions and Section and Committee Chairs were elected and announced.
