Online Recertification Course
If you’re an SP001 AST System Inspector due for recertification, you can easily renew for another five years with this online refresher course and examination. Take it at any time, at your convenience, from your own computer.
Course Content
- There are 11 modules in the course, each consisting of a PowerPoint review presentation and a four-item quiz.
- You must answer at least three of the quiz questions correctly before you can move on to the next module.
- Modules must be taken in order, no skipping back and forth.
- At the end of the course, you will take a 30-question examination.
Recertification Requirements
- You must pass the 30-question exam with a score of at least 80% to qualify for recertification.
- Provide proof of passing an eye test for visual acuity within the past 12 months. The eye exam must be administered by an optometrist, medical doctor, registered nurse or certified physician’s assistant. See sample form for information required.
Prepare for the Course
Study the materials listed below. While the online course highlights important points, the 30 test questions include additional items from these documents. (Co-workers may share study materials, but must complete the Online Recertification Course individually.)
Payment and Access
1. At least seven days before you are ready to take the Online Recertification Course quizzes and exam, complete and submit the Application Form by email, fax or US mail.
2. You will receive an email containing a link to the Online Recertification Course, and a username and password.
3. Click the link, and login with the username and password.
4. Pay the $300 program fee with a credit card and begin the course immediately. Access is available to you for 48 hours only.
