The Steel Tank Institute and Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA) will not sell or disclose to third parties any information collected from Web forms or e-mailing lists without the user’s consent. If STI/SPFA retains agents, contractors or companies to perform services on its behalf, STI/SPFA will ensure that the company is made aware of the security practices and takes reasonable precautions to protect any transferred information. STI/SPFA does not collect small text files called “cookies” or any other types of information remembered from each visit to the Web site, except for registered users of our portal. STI/SPFA has collected contact information including addresses, telephone and fax numbers from each of its members and maintains this database on a password protected portion of the Web site. This database is available to members only. In order to access this portion of the Web site, your STI/SPFA-approved user name & password must be entered each time. It is the goal of STI/SPFA’s Web site to provide factual, up-to-date information in a reasonable timeframe. It will take reasonable steps to fulfill this goal. CREDIT CARD PAYMENT PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE By attempting to make a payment by credit card through the STI/SPFA website, you agree that you are aware of the following privacy policy, accept the following terms and conditions and authorize payments to STI/SPFA from your credit card. STI/SPFA is concerned about your right to privacy. Information provided for your credit card payment (including your name, credit card number, account and other personal details) will not be shared or sold to anyone outside of STI/SPFA and the financial institutions used to process payments. We use this information to ensure that the payment process occurs accurately and efficiently. If you do not wish to provide us with the required information, we will not be able to process your online credit card payments. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided. You shall not, at any time, provide us with information which is false, inaccurate, misleading or deceptive. If we have grounds to believe that you have provided us with such information, we may choose not to proceed with processing your payment.

If, for any reason whatsoever, your payment is not processed, authorized or accepted by any entity involved in the processing of any online credit card transaction, your payment obligation shall remain outstanding and may be subject to late fees, charges or other actions where applicable. You are responsible for any fees associated with any payment transaction that is returned by any bank or other financial institution. You understand and agree that STI/SPFA is not liable for erroneous bill statements or incorrect charges to your account. STI/SPFA REFUND POLICY For Refund information on STI/SPFA Seminars, Meetings or Certification Courses, refer to the online brochure for each course, as cancellation deadlines and resultant cancellation fees may differ for each course. Literature Refunds – Any bound document can be returned for a full refund of the purchase price within 30 days of shipment, however no refunds are provided for shipping charges. There are no refunds for any documents delivered electronically. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING All documents for countries outside the United States must be sent electronically.
