Steel Tank Institute is no longer selling software to create tank capacity charts. There are many companies that sell these types of software packages. All STI members ship gauging charts with new tanks they sell. To obtain a free tank gauging chart, simply contact the original tank manufacturer. Newberry Tanks is one tank manufacturer, among others, that offers free "Custom Tank Charts" on their website, www.newberrytanks.com. Newberry Tanks also has available on its website many common charts for various sized tanks. While these cannot be guaranteed to be accurate for every tank, if you do not know that tank’s dimensions, it is one place to start. Another website is www.kwaleak.com/downloads/index.htm which offers two programs free of charge to create tank capacity charts.  The deluxe version allows for temperature compensation.
