For cathodic protection testers currently certified by STI or NACE International
The easy-to-follow, interactive exam is available to cathodic protection testers currently certified by STI or NACE International. All testers must provide proof of active engagement in the field of cathodic protection monitoring. In addition, cathodic protection testers whose STI certifications have expired will be permitted to recertify under this program for up to 3 months from their certification date. If it has been more than three months since your certificate expired, you are not eligible for this program. You must instead take the CP course again. This recertification program allows existing STI CP certified testers to take an online exam to renew their certification. The cost for this program is $495.
60 Day Policy
Our policy for taking the STI Recertification exam online is that you complete the process within 60 days. If you pass the 60 days and still wish to take your exam online, you will need to pay a $150.00 processing fee.
Whether or not your state or other AHJ form requires the continuity testing, we need to be able to see that this required component of ICCP continuity testing is being performed correctly. ICCP results should also have rectifier data.
