STI responded to EPA's request for comments with a clear statement that steel tanks are and always have been compatible with biofuels, as well as all fuels produced to ASTM standards.  Because steel is used extensively through the transportation industry, from steel tanks at refineries to steel engines in automobiles, consumers can always be secure knowing that steel must be compatible with all future fuels as well. Please read STI's letter to see all the details.
